About this site

Fitness writing without the shouting

Love Your Fitness is a library of general fitness education for adults with beginner to intermediate experience. The guides explain how strength, endurance and mobility work actually fit together, then leave the pacing up to you.

  • Written for real schedules Short sessions, home options, and permission to split a workout across the day.
  • Modifications come first Chair, floor, band and lower-impact alternatives sit next to the main instructions, not in a footnote.
  • No promised transformations General education only, with recovery and progression cautions where they matter.

Mobility & Recovery

The part of training that happens after training

Ten-minute routines, easy-day ideas and cooldowns that leave you feeling looser instead of wrung out.

Beginner starting point

Never done this before? Three steps, in this order

Pick a movement you already like

Walking counts. Dancing in the kitchen counts. Consistency is easier to build on than intensity, so choose something you would happily repeat on a dull Tuesday.

Add two short strength sessions

Twenty minutes of squats, presses, rows and carries covers most of what general strength work needs. Bodyweight and household objects are a legitimate starting point.

Protect the recovery

Easy days, sleep and a short cooldown are what let the training stick. If a movement causes sharp or worsening pain, stop and get it looked at.
